Plant Anatomy
We are very happy to bring out the successful second edition of this book entitled “Plant Anatomy” Semester-III, Paper I for the students of S.Y.B.Sc. The Board of Studies in Botany, Kavayitri Bahinabai Chaudhari, North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon has recently revised the syllabus of S.Y.B.Sc., Botany, which is being implemented from June, 2019. The present Text Book of Plant Anatomy is written as per the recently revised syllabus of Botany Paper I.
The basic and prime source of inspiration for writing this text book is our students and colleagues in the colleges. Many reference books are available in the market pertaining to the present syllabus. But it is a herculean task to get all such reference books for our students and even teachers. Hence with the view to help the students to solve their genuine difficulties, we have initiated the joint venture of writing a single text book.
Considering this the authors have written all the topics with necessary, up to date and recent information in a lucid and very simple language using maximum illustrations and figures wherever possible. All the topics are written to the points as per the weightage of lectures given to each topic in the syllabus, avoiding the unnecessary details at this level.
