This book has been prepared with the objective of making
the study of Human Geography simple, systematic, and engaging.
The content has been arranged in a logical order, as per the need
of KBC NMU, Jalgaon syllabus for S.Y. B. Sc. Sem. III (Minor)
(NEP – 2020 Pattern), from basic concepts to complex topics. So
that learners can develop a clear understanding of nature and scope,
branches of Human Geography, man-environment relationship etc.
in first unit. Second unit of the book deals with the different races
across the world, physical basis of races, society and culture of
major tribes and different ethnic groups of in India.
While writing this book, special care has been taken to present
facts in an easy-to-understand language, supported by relevant
maps, diagrams, case studies etc. The comprehensive questions
and exercises are given as per university question paper pattern at
the end of each chapter aim to encourage critical thinking and selfassessment
