It is difficult for every student to buy and study books with quality and accurate information on all the sub-branches of geography and for all these books to be available in a single library. Also, most of the books on geography are available in English. Therefore, Marathi speaking students preparing for NET/SET/JRF Geography have to face many difficulties. The main objective of creating this book is to provide accurate information on all the sub-branches of geography included in the syllabus of NET/SET examination in a single book in a palatial language by considering all these difficulties in depth. In this book, a diligent effort has been made to make the concepts and content of various branches of geography easily understandable to the student. Also, the necessary concepts have been explained with the help of diagrams and they have been prepared by the authors themselves on the computer. Therefore, they have been prepared more accurately. The scope of geography of the land known to everyone is very vast and it is impossible to arrange its content in limited pages. Therefore, instead of explaining all the components of the NET/SET exam syllabus in detail, the emphasis is on self-study and self-observation of the NET/SET exam questions and explaining them concisely and accurately. After each component, objective questions are given considering the difficulty level of the NET/SET question set, which will help the students in self-study. Similarly, in order to give the students practice in solving the question set, four practice question sets consisting of 900 questions, along with the question sets of the second and third papers of the NET and SET exams, have been included with their answers.
