It’s a great pleasure for us to present this book BO 3511-3611, Semester V-VI for T.Y.B.Sc. students of the Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune. This book is written as per the revised syllabus of Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune to be implemented from June 2021. This is ‘Skill Enhancement Course’ implemented by univeristy and hence every care has been taken to understand theoretical ideas in practical ways so that such ideas may be transformed in the production or “make in” process. To conserve plant life for our and environmental health should be first priority. Instead of using synthetic fertilizers, if natural fertilizers or biofertilizers will be used our land health and plant production processes will be enhanced.
We have tried to explain the concepts and information in lucid language so that students could understand it easily. Many senior faculty members have inspired us to perform this duty. We feel it’s not a new creations but presentation in simple form for the better understanding of students.
