It is with great pleasure that we present ‘Business & Corporate Laws’, a comprehensive textbook designed for students of management and commerce. This book has been written in alignment with the revised syllabus under the National Education Policy-2020, catering to the needs of First-Year undergraduate students at Kavayitri Bahinabai Chaudhari North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon, effective from the academic year 2024-25.
The primary aim of this book is to provide students with a clear, structured and in-depth understanding of business and corporate laws within organizational contexts. In doing so, every effort has been made to use simple, student-friendly language and supplemented with logical explanations and practical illustrations to maximize the effectiveness of learning.
This book is not only intended for students but also serves as a valuable resource for faculty members. It offers well-organized content, key concepts, real-life examples and insights drawn from a wide range of reference books and research papers, thereby reducing the time and effort required to gather material from multiple sources.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to Prashant Publications, Jalgaon and specially Mr. Rangrao Patil and his dedicated team for their unwavering support throughout this book. We also express our sincere gratitude to Dr. Vaishali B. Patil, Director of RCPET’s Institute of Management Research and Development, Shirpur, along with our mentors and colleagues for their continuous encouragement, guidance and support during the preparation of this book.
