Discrete Probability Distribution and Time Series

We are in confident to provide this textbook of statistics, Paper – I, Discrete probability distribution and Time Series (ST-231) to the student of S. Y. B.Sc. The book is written according to the revised syllabus of CBCS pattern of Savitribai Phule Pune University with effective from June 2020.
Basic purpose of the book is, to available of base as well as broad background of ‘Discrete Distributions’ to starters in easy and attractive manner. In order to make the content of book simple and comfortable, we prefer Questions and answers type pattern for the book so that student get easily connect with the exam paper pattern. Also, we have given solution from the previous year Question paper, diagrams, remarks etc., to explain statistical concept.
Application of statistics in real life situation is point up through the examples. We also provide the numerical problem which is useful for practical paper – III. Practical list also given which needful for entire course. MS – Excel command to obtain probabilities is supplementary aspect of the book.
