It gives us immense pleasure to present this textbook titled “EL 211:
Analog Circuit and Application”, which is designed as per the revised syllabus
under the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 for undergraduate students
in electronics and related disciplines. The primary objective of this book is to
provide a clear, concise, and comprehensive understanding of analog electronic
circuits and their real-world applications.
This book is organized into four main units: Transistor Amplifiers,
Transistor Power Amplifiers, Feedback and Oscillators. The first unit
covers the basic working principles and configurations of transistor amplifiers,
emphasizing their characteristics and analysis. The second unit delves into power
amplifiers, focusing on different classes of operation and their efficiency. The
third unit explains the concept of feedback in electronic circuits and final unit
covers various oscillator designs essential for generating continuous waveforms.
Each chapter is presented with simplified explanations, diagrams, and
numerical examples to enhance conceptual clarity and support self-learning.
This book is an ideal companion for students aiming to build a solid foundation
in analog electronics, and it also serves as a quick reference for teachers and
professionals.
We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to Mr. Rangrao Patil, Prashant
Publication, Jalgaon, for his constant encouragement, cooperation, and support
in bringing this book to publication. His commitment to quality educational
resources continues to inspire authors and educators alike.
We welcome constructive feedback and suggestions from readers that will
help us improve future editions of this book.
