It is any commercial activity that brings visitors to a working farm, ranch or agricultural setting for entertainment, education, or recreation while helping farm owners earn extra money. The BOS in Botany has taken one more step to introduce such an important commercial aspect for students of Botany.
Advances in Agrotourism (BOT-310-MJ-T) and practicals based on Agrotourism (BOT-313-MJ-P) is going to introduce our dear students with various aspects of Agrotourism with brief introduction, various activities and management aspects, planning and development, entrepreneurship and financial management, digital and smart agrotourism, sustainable practices and environmental management, cultural heritage and rural experience development, agrotourism policy, research and case studies in agrotourism. The practicals based on agrotourism (BOT-313-MJ-P) have been fully introduced so that student can take it as interesting activity during their practical work.
