North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon has restructured the syllabus at
SYBCom level as per the guidelines of University Grant Commission.
This book is prepared according to the revised syllabus. Though this
book is written specially for the KBC North Maharashtra University,
still it will be useful to other universities also, because the guidelines
of UGC are followed by all other universities.
Every country, State frames its own laws. All the transactions
should be as per laws. Due to globalisation & liberalisation &
e-commerce, the world has come closer, commerce & trade among
the different countries has become convenient. The laws of different
nations are also becoming uniform. On this ground, the students of
commerce will find this book very useful. Though the text of law is
quiet difficult to understand, special efforts have taken, to explain the
provisions in simple language. Instead of discussing the provisions
of the entire Act, at length, care is taken at confine the discussion,
strictly as per syllabus. However for the benefit of the students for
further reading and update knowledge of the entire Acts, the citations
of websites are given at the end of every chapter. Sections of the Act
are quoted so that students will find convenient to refer. Though, Every
care has taken to keep the book free from errors, the chances of errors
cannot be over ruled. Suggestions for the improvement of the book are
most welcomed & will be considered for next edition.
