When man first learnt to speak, he felt a desire to name and classify objects around him. As time went on, he changed into a more civilized creature and the need for communication grew more acute. There is a particular branches of Botany that deals with identification, nomenclature and classification of plants. This is called Plant Taxonomy. Angiosperms form large, highly evolved, highly diverse and extremely economical group of flowering plants and taxonomic affaires of this group are introduced in this book-Taxonomy of Angiosperms. This book is written for S.Y.B.Sc student (NEP 2020) as per new Syllabus.

The language of this book is so lucid that almost all students can grasp the subject matter easily. Almost every care has been taken to understand taxonomical aspects of angiosperms as per new policy of syllabus framing. This book covers introductory taxonomy and some important contributions of selected taxonomist, followed by systems of classification. As per syllabus new topic have been added-Taxonomic Literature and Sources of Data for Systematics.
