We have great pleasure in presenting this text “A Textbook of Environmental Chemistry” (for semester V) paper VI for B.Sc. IIIrd year students of Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune. The book is written strictly in accordance with the new syllabus of Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) prescribed by Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune which is brought in force from August 2021.
Writing a popular and compact textbook imposes serious restrictions on the in-depth coverage of subject matter but the student dislike the voluminous book. So we have tried to balance these two to extremities.
